GATERON KS-20 Magnetic White Hall Sensor Switch Features
GATERON Magnetic Hall Effect Switches, permanent magnets and Hall sensors work together to detect changes in keycap positioning. This technology enhances the typing feel and allows for customizable travel distance, improving both the responsiveness and longevity of the switch. The electromagnetic principle offers reduced friction, resulting in a smoother, more durable switch for long-term use.
GATERON patent applies for magnetic induction technology in mechanical keyboard switches. This application of the magnetic switch not only improves the typing feel of the mechanical switch again but also makes the free setting travel in conduction technology outstanding.
Operating on the electromagnetic principle, the switch uses Hall effect sensing technology for actuation.
That is to say, there are permanent magnets inside, and Hall sensors are nearby. As the key is pressed, the magnet on the stem moves, causing a change in the magnetic field that is detected by the Hall sensor.
The operation speed is 10 times faster than a regular mechanical switch
This switch allows operation travel to be adjusted from the shortest 0.4mm to the fastest 3.6mm
